Can I have multiple accounts or users?

You can add users with or without admin privileges to manage your ads, however, for quality control of our system, we don't allow sponsors to have multiple accounts for the same or similar businesses.

How can I close my account?

You can email us and request cancellation of your account. If you wish to continue your sponsorship in the future, you can notify us to reactivate your account.

How do I create an ad?

You can create an advertisement by clicking on the "Create Advertisement" menu option. Next, you will need to select the type of advertisement you wish to create, and depending on the type of selected advertisement, you will be shown a form where you can post various details for your advertisement.

Do I have any control over my ads?

You can edit, suspend and cancel your ads at anytime, giving you total control over your advertisement.

You can set the number of messages containing your ads, where they are placed, the number of views, and assign cost limits for your ads.

Are there any ad requirements and guidelines?

Yes. We do not allow religious, abusive or offensive content and images on the ads. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for more information.

What kind of ad can I create on YouTXT?

There are a few different ads you can create:
1. Single line ads which can be placed on the site and as an attachment to emails,
2. Single line ads to attach to SMS
3. Multi line ads which can be placed on the site and as an attachment to emails,
4. Banner ads (vertical and horizontal) which can be placed on the site and emails,
5. B2B banner ads which can be placed on the site and emails,
6. Main question that can be answered by our texters.
7. Mobile coupon that can be broadcast by SMS or attached to SMS sent by our texters.

How do the online ads work?

The line and banner ads are placed on the pages of the user interface for our texters once they login.

How do the email ads work?

Email advertisements are attached with all email communication that we send to our texters. Emails containing SMS message copies, and replies to SMS messages also contain advertisements.

How do the SMS ads work?

YouTXT offers 100 characters out of the 160 characters of a standard SMS to the texter to send their personal SMS. The remaining 60 characters are for our sponsors to place an advertisement, based on the context of the SMS.

How do SMS coupons work?

An SMS coupon comes in two parts:

The coupon is attached to the bottom of SMS messages sent by our texters. The SMS attachment contains the SMS Text for your coupon, and a hyperlink to an automatically generated mobile webpage for your coupon.

When the embedded link is opened on a mobile it will display the mobile webpage to the texter. This page contains the full details of your coupon.

Does my ad need any approval?

Yes, your ad has to be approved by a YouTXT moderator before it is activated.

Why wasn't my ad approved? What do I do next?

Your ad has to meet certain content guidelines and requirements mentioned in the Terms and Conditions. If any of your ads do not meet the guidelines, we will notify you.

Can I use the same ads that I have used in the past?

Yes, you can renew your advertisement any time from the "Manage Advertisements" section.

Is there any mechanism to control click fraud?

Yes, the implemented procedures to avoid and detect click fraud include: limitation placed on texters for clicking on ads, earning credit from the clicks, delay and recording of the clicks to name a few. The texters also earn more credit by accessing their account, that is viewing the sponsored ads rather than clicking on the ads.

I forgot my password. How do I retrieve it?

Click on "Forgot password" below the login section, and enter your username or email address. We will send the password to your email address.

How does YouTXT handle my personal data and payment information?

We understand your need for privacy and we take the security and confidentiality of your information as our highest priority. All the information you provide to us will be kept strictly confidential. We do not share or sell any identifiable information with any third parties. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.

What are the costs of ads?

The cost of an ad depends on the type of advertisement (text, banner, question ad etc) and the selected event for each ad (displayed, clicked etc).

Is there any minimum spending?

No, there is no minimum spending, and you can fully control the maximum spending per day on each ad separately.

How do I purchase credits?

You can purchase credit bundles online by clicking on the "Buy Credits" link.

Will the prices for ads vary?

Yes, you can vary the credit for each ad over the set limit.

Is there any reporting or statistics available for my account?

Yes, you will have access to reports for the cost incurred by each ad, number of events, views, and other information you need to monitor your ads.
